I literally can't find a fault with this place. It was superb service, delicious food and a great atmosphere. The place itself is tastefully decorative. We visited on a Saturday, and although the place was fully booked, they didn’t let this impact their service in the slightest. Even the wait time on food was on point. I would definitely recommend this pub if you're looking for a great food experience all round. It is on the pricier range of lunch/dinners, but you get what you pay for, and you will not be disappointed. 10/10 from me.

The dog and pickle never disappoints! We have been coming occasionally since the opening and after the most recent visit, it’s clear they have certainly upped their Roast game. Being super particular, the pour on the Guinness wasn’t great. Beef tacos were a little underwhelming for the cost. Everything else was spot on.

Absolutely 10/10 meal at The Dog & Pickle this weekend, the food was worth every penny and more. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the roast sharing platter - a must try. Managed to grab a cancellation spot and extremely glad we did ! Service dropped towards the end when things started busying up, but a very strong start from a younger waitress to begin with. Many thanks there. We will be back !

I had the pleasure of enjoying the Sunday roast at the Dog and Pickle in Moreton, and it was truly nothing short of exceptional! The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, tender meats, and all the classic trimmings that made the meal feel like a special treat. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and indulge. What really made the experience stand out was the incredible service from Ollie. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His genuine warmth and professionalism made us feel truly valued as customers. Highly recommend the Dog and Pickle for anyone looking for a top-notch Sunday roast with fantastic service. We’ll definitely be returning soon! Thanks again Ollie!

Our son and his gf took both me and my husband out for our joint birthdays and from when we arrived, we were made very welcome. Ameretto sours all round, tasty. Starters- mushroom parfait, arancini, focaccia & olives. Our mains, wagyu beef, chestnut stuffed chicken, Dover sole & the best steak & ale pie ever. Desserts of rhubarb & raspberry pana cotta (mine & blinking lovely), fudge brownie, cheesecake & chocolate cremeau. The service was extremely good and attentive without being intrusive. A restaurant that we would happily return to. Would recommend to try at least once, but certainly a shame not to try. Well deserved 5*

On the recommendation of my mother in law, we (my wife and I) paid The Dog a visit, we were slightly early but seated straight away. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive, quick but not hurried. Reasonably described as a gastropub - but really much more than that. The establishment was clean and well presented, obviously a minimum standard - but one that many places struggle with. Homely and welcoming. A place to smugly take your family or friends and reveal a hidden gem, who will certainly book return visits. In a time with so much mediocrity and centralised kitchens etc around our local area, it was nice to be genuinely impressed at what we found. The food was excellent, an expertly constructed menu, executed by deft hands was an absolute joy to eat. A basic summary of our choices: Beef tartare Mushroom stuffed chicken Buttermilk chicken Mixed seafood Onions rings Truffle fries Chicken salt fries Caramelised pecans and vanilla cheesecake (we shared one) Note The onion rings were as close to perfection as I’ve ever eaten in the onion ring stakes. Light, crunchy, perfect balance of batter and onion. Overall, we couldn’t recommend The Dog and PIckle anymore highly. Worth travelling for.

Amazing food, we’ve been here a few times and we’ve decided it’s our favourite restaurant!! The service and food is next level along with their attention to detail showed by all staff! The quality of the food is next level and the staff make you feel instantly at home! Definitely recommend

The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all absolutely perfect. We celebrated our anniversary there and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great time even though the whole place was really busy, they were all very attentive. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection and the cocktails were gorgeous
